Chief's Report September 7, 2006
  1. ISO status.  We have a lot of work ahead of us and a lot of training to adequately perform these exercises.  We are planning all day training on the 16th where we will practice moving water.
     

  2. Runs/pageouts see summary.
     

  3. The precipitation during the months of July and August has significantly mitigated the danger of wildfires.
     

  4. Service Truck project.  The truck has been titled and registered in our name.  We still have some work to do such as installation of the cascade system.
     

  5. Emergency Response Road Atlas.  The Park County GIS Department has published a countywide road atlas.  I have ordered copies for our Chief Officers and Station 1.  The ES Council has agreed to pay for up to ten copies per agency.  This atlas has also been distributed on CD in pdf format.  I am planning to make a copy of just our district information for each member and each piece of apparatus.
     

  6. The ES Council has approved a grant application to purchase AEDs to be distributed throughout the county.
